Christian Myth #9

“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

When Paul said, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” he meant “ALL the things!”

We can run faster, lift more, succeed in business, get the dream house, dream car, and the attractive spouse.

Or he meant that Christ will get us through the crappy times in life, and your gym clothing brand is a twisted self centered tagline whereby Jesus is a genie not a savior.

Zoom out a couple verses and we see the passage is talking about being content in any situation since we have Christ.

Broke? Rich? Jesus has you.

Hungry? Stuffed? Jesus provides.

Success? Failure? Jesus succeeded for you.

Morally Bankrupt? Good Person? Jesus died for your sin.

So now you can give up on your self salvation project and trust the strength of Jesus in you.

Wait, does the nav block sit on the footer for this theme? That’s bold.
